Patients with rheumatoid arthritis experienced reduced pain sensitivity after 12 weeks of treatment with disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs). The study included 182 patients, and statistically significant reductions in pain sensitivity were observed at various anatomical sites. These findings suggest an association between reduced inflammation and improvements in peripheral pain sensitivity.
