A systematic review compared femoral triangle block (FTB) and adductor canal block (ACB) following total knee arthroplasty. Similar resting and activity pain scores, but FTB showed better analgesic efficacy at 48 hours postoperatively. ACB preserved quadriceps muscle strength better but had no significant differences in adverse reactions and patient satisfaction. Researchers recommend further large-scale studies. The anatomical differences contribute to their differential effects on analgesia and muscle function.
