A case report in Medicine described a rare primary abdominal ectopic pregnancy in a 25-year-old patient who initially presented with persistent upper abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting and was misdiagnosed with gastroenteritis. Ultrasound showed no intrauterine pregnancy or adnexal abnormalities, while contrast CT identified a vascular upper abdominal lesion. Diagnostic laparoscopy confirmed abdominal ectopic pregnancy with active intra-abdominal bleeding, and the patient recovered without complications following surgical resection.
