A 12-week clinical trial assessed two topical herbal emollients, BNO 3731 and BNO 3732, containing ginger extract and cannabidiol for treating atopic dermatitis (AD) in 100 participants. Notable findings include a 53% reduction in peak itch intensity and a 54% decrease in Recap scores within the first month, with fewer participants experiencing flare-ups compared to a control cohort. Both products were well-tolerated with minimal adverse effects, showcasing their potential as non-steroidal treatments for AD management.
