A large clinical study revealed that tailoring hormone therapy based on women's genetic profiles for in vitro fertilization (IVF) resulted in improved pregnancy and live birth rates. By matching the type of follicle-stimulating hormone to a woman’s FSH receptor gene variant, better outcomes were achieved. This precision medicine approach has the potential to optimize hormone selection and enhance overall success rates in fertility care, offering promise for increasing live births.
