Computed tomography identified a broad spectrum of thoracic manifestations in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus, with infection (53.3%) and pulmonary arterial hypertension (50%) as the most frequent findings in this cohort. Less common but clinically relevant findings included pulmonary edema (18.3%), interstitial lung disease and serositis (each 10%), while imaging also showed frequent extra-thoracic involvement, highlighting the multisystem burden of disease.
