Recalling daily events before bedtime may enhance memory in older adults, especially those in early Alzheimer's stages. A study involving 26 participants showed that those tasked with remembering five daily activities improved their performance on memory tests the next morning, achieving an accuracy increase from 82% to 86.4%. Notably, participants with Alzheimer's exhibited a 7% enhancement. While sleep quality was monitored, improvements were attributed more to the recall task than sleep itself, suggesting a simple, accessible method for supporting memory health in cognitively at-risk populations.
