1. Ablation did not reduce the primary composite outcome vs anticoagulation alone in atrial fibrillation patients with recent stroke.
2. Recurrent ischemic stroke rates were similar between treatment groups.
3. Overall event rates were lower than expected in both groups.
4. Catheter ablation complications were rare (two procedural events).
5. The trial may have been underpowered to detect meaningful differences.
