This randomized controlled trial of 150 rosacea patients found that combining advanced optimal pulse technology (AOPT/IPL) with recombinant type III collagen dressings produced significantly better outcomes than AOPT alone after 12 weeks. Patients receiving the combination therapy had greater reductions in facial erythema, lesion severity, inflammation, and recurrence rates, along with improved skin barrier function and quality of life, without increased adverse effects.
