A multicenter study on middle meningeal artery embolization (MMAE) in relation to surgery for chronic subdural hematoma found no significant impact on patient outcomes. Timing and order of MMAE relative to surgical evacuation did not influence recurrence or procedural success. The study suggests the need for larger investigations to confirm these findings.
