EssilorLuxottica has obtained regulatory clearance for Nuance Audio Glasses, a unique product that integrates hearing aid functionality into smart glasses. These glasses are designed to address mild to moderate hearing loss and are the first FDA-cleared preset Software as a Medical Device hearing aid in the U.S. They offer an open-ear hearing solution and are expected to support vision and hearing simultaneously. The product launch will be in the U.S. and E.U., with initial market entry in the U.S. and a gradual roll-out in European countries starting in Italy in Q1, followed by France, Germany, and the United Kingdom in the first half of 2025.
