In a recent survey study, researchers assessed the prevalence and characteristics of sexual harassment and gender discrimination within ophthalmology. They found that, despite increased awareness and institutional efforts, sexual harassment and gender discrimination persist within the field. The researchers also highlighted concerns regarding institutional responses to harassment claims from the survey and provided suggestions for future initiatives.
