A comprehensive randomized study involving 902 women with regular menstrual cycles demonstrates that preparing the endometrium for frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET) using a natural cycle (NC) approach yields better outcomes than hormone replacement therapy (HRT). The NC group achieved a live birth rate of 54.0% compared to 43.0% for HRT, indicating a 26% higher likelihood of success. Additional benefits included lower miscarriage rates and antepartum hemorrhage. The findings suggest NC preparation aligns more closely with natural hormonal conditions, potentially minimizing risks associated with synthetic hormones.
