A study involving 386 patients revealed significant differences in the quality of life and economic burden between chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU) and chronic induced urticaria (CIndU) patients. Conducted across three hospitals in China, it found CSU patients suffered worse quality of life, reported higher medical costs, and had greater awareness of biologics than CIndU patients. Predictors of poor quality included CSU diagnosis, comorbidities, and lower Urticaria Control Test scores. The findings emphasize the need for tailored management strategies for CSU patients.
