A study evaluated the effectiveness and safety of 595-nm pulsed dye laser treatment in 120 Asian infants with port wine stains. The treatment demonstrated favorable clearance rates, with younger age, smaller lesions, and certain lesion locations and colors showing better responses. Adverse effects were mild and well-tolerated, indicating 595-nm PDL as a safe and efficient option for treating port wine stains in Asian infants.
